Richmond, VA – August 9, 2004 – WILink, a leading provider of global investor relations and investment information services, today released 2nd quarter results of their email notification service, PrecisionAlert™. PrecisionAlert email notifications increased an average of 329% in the second quarter, enhancing the information flow from companies to potential shareholders who have requested to be updated on corporate news and events. PrecisionAlert is one tool within WILink’s PrecisionIR suite of services, which facilitates communications between corporations and the investment community.
The PrecisionIR line of services helps publicly traded companies attract the interest of and communicate with investors, through programs like the Annual Report Service, Vcall webcasting, InstitutionalReach, and Informed Investor Forums. As part of this service, PrecisionAlert acts as a bridge between companies and the investors who have shown interest in the company through requesting an annual report or attending a corporate webcast. Companies are able to automatically update interested investors on their latest breaking news in addition to providing notification of their upcoming corporate events.
Investors choose the companies, funds and industries they want to track, and can also choose to be reminded of investment forums or conferences. When financial events or information becomes available on the companies they are tracking, investors receive an email notification with a link to the event or information. Approximately 173,800 investors have opted to stay informed through PrecisionAlert.
